3 Days in Cannes: Sun, Sea, Celebs & Champagne

If you’re dreaming of sun-drenched beaches, glittering nightlife, and the kind of glamour only the French Riviera can offer—Cannes is your spot. We recently spent three unforgettable days soaking up all the city has to offer, from seaside lunches to celeb-studded parties. Here’s the ultimate 3-day itinerary for living your best life in Cannes.

Day 1: Arrival, Sea Views & Chic Evenings

We landed at Nice Airport and jumped into a taxi straight to our Airbnb in Pointe de la Croisette—a prime location just off Boulevard de la Croisette, close to some of Cannes’ most iconic restaurants, bars, and nightlife. Our apartment was literally steps from the sea, which made impromptu swims a daily ritual.

Lunch was at a charming seafront café, where we indulged in creamy burrata and refreshing spritzes while watching yachts drift lazily on the water.

As the sun began to set, we kicked off the evening with drinks at Le Majestic—an iconic hotel bar known for its luxe crowd—and then made our way to La Môme Beach (La Maema) for sunset and cocktails right on the sand.

Late-night plans? Baôli, of course. This upscale restaurant-turned-club is a Cannes institution. Dinner turned into dancing under the stars, surrounded by palm trees, beats, and beautiful people. The energy here is unmatched—if you’re up for a party, Baôli is the place.

Day 2: Celeb Spotting & Island Vibes

After a lazy morning by the sea, we geared up for our 3 PM reservation at La Guérite, one of the Riviera’s most legendary hotspots. Perched on the tiny Île Sainte-Marguerite, La Guérite is accessible only by boat—either via a water taxi or private charter from the Cannes harbor (roughly a 15-minute ride).

The moment we arrived, we knew it was going to be that kind of afternoon. Think turquoise waters, DJ sets, bronzed crowds, table dancing, bottles of rosé being passed around like water. And the guest list? Usher was popping champagne a few tables over, and we spotted Virgil van Dijk and Brazilian legend Ronaldo soaking up the sun. La Guérite isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a vibe, and it doesn’t hold back.

Dinner brought us back to the mainland, where we wandered into Le Suquet, Cannes’ old town. The cobbled streets and quaint atmosphere made for a perfect contrast to the wild afternoon. We dined at a cozy Italian spot nestled in the hills, a quiet way to wind down.

Day 3: Swim, Sun & Cabaret

For our last full day, we kept things low-key with a morning swim and some well-deserved chill time by the beach. Cannes is perfect for this—the Mediterranean is just too inviting to ignore.

Around midday, we indulged in a divine lunch at Byblos, a renowned Lebanese restaurant known for its vibrant flavors and fresh, colorful dishes. The mezze spread was incredible — everything from creamy hummus and babaganoush to fresh tabbouleh and spicy potatoes— paired beautifully with refreshing mint lemonades. It was the perfect way to fuel up before the evening ahead.

We weren’t going out quietly…

Our final night took us to Medusa, a glamorous cabaret-meets-club experience in the heart of Cannes. With dazzling performances, elevated cuisine, and a party that doesn’t stop until the early hours, Medusa was the perfect send-off. Think burlesque meets bottle service—over-the-top in all the right ways. We spent the rest of the evening hanging out with an LA basketball player and his crew, making the night even more unforgettable.

Should You Go to Saint-Tropez?

We considered a day trip to Saint-Tropez, but honestly? Cannes had everything we wanted and more. The logistics of getting to Saint-Tropez (especially in peak season) can be a bit of a mission, and with parties like Baôli and Medusa, plus the La Guérite experience, we didn’t feel like we missed a thing.

Final Thoughts

Cannes is the epitome of Riviera chic—equal parts luxury, leisure, and legendary nightlife. Whether you’re lounging by the sea, dancing under the stars, or brushing shoulders with celebrities at beach clubs, this city knows how to do it right. It was one of those rare places where I was vibing so hard, I barely got any good pics! Was just living in the moment.

3 days was perfect—but we’re already dreaming of coming back.
